Dr. Olympia Karacosta is a clinician-educator with over 25 years of experience in esthetic and implant dentistry. She is currently an Associate Clinical Professor in the Department of Comprehensive Care at Tufts University School of Dental Medicine, where she also serves as Practice Coordinator and teaches in the Advanced Education Program in Esthetic Dentistry.
Originally from Greece, Dr. Karacosta earned her DDS from the University of Athens in 1997. She completed fellowships in Esthetic Dentistry and Implant Dentistry at Tufts University and later received her DMD from Tufts in 2007. A licensed practitioner in both Greece and Massachusetts, she has maintained clinical practice in Boston and Athens and is currently affiliated with Warshauer & Santamaria in Boston.
Dr. Karacosta is an ITI Fellow and an active member of professional organizations including the American Dental Association, the Massachusetts Dental Society, the Academy of Osseointegration, and the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry. She is also engaged in clinical research and curriculum development and has been recognized with Tufts’ Excellence in Teaching Award. Her work bridges clinical practice and academic leadership, with a commitment to patient-centered care and dental education.
